A few days ago, i tried to implement a div around the dragged picture (the zoomed one)... the issue was still there. So after a big cup of coffee this morning, i thought about trying the same thing with but with no img tag and a background style on the div. Its works fine on firefox / chrome and now Internet explorer... i made radical changes to your script, if you want it someday, don't hesitate to contact me.
