Foarte interesant scriptul, dar nu functioneaza -pe toate browserele. Am incercat sa-l integrez in tomatocart , si cu mici modificari la elemente in chrome si firefox merge perfect. In schimb ie-7-8-9 si safari nimic, parca ar fi blocat javascriptul.

Depends what Joomla version you’re using. If it’s the latest, it uses MooTools 1.3 and this script is developed with MooTools 1.2. Other than that, don’t know what else to say.

Curious how you would tie this into Joomla 1.5?

I have pretty much copied what is needed but it isn’t working. The script calls in the header seemed ok.

Would Joomla be conflicting with this?

Hi Daniel,

After taking a quick look at your page I noticed that the js folder where you have mootools framework and mooHover doesn’t have public access. This means that these scripts never get loaded because of that. If you try to access the script directly, you get a 403 error page from the server. try solving that and you’ll be OK.

This looks like such a great script. I just can’t seem to get it to work. I’ve literally spent all day today looking for any errors in my code to figure out what the problem is. Would you mind looking over my code? I’m really looking forward to using this! Thanks for any help you can give me.

Was there ever a solution to JR’s issue, I’ve had this opacity problem a lot and would love to finally solve it. I actually fixed it once on bretbycc.co.uk using the background color trick.

On a ticker with a gradient background, this is not working :(

It's a tricky question. If you check Yahoo's best practices for speeding up your website, one of the rules is to actually put scripts at the bottom. Makes sense if you think of it. On the other hand, the header is a common place to look for any scripts that get loaded in page. So, I can't tell for sure what is what. As a note, I commonly put scripts in head section.
